At its seventh Partner Day in Esbjerg, Cloud Factory gave every MSP partner a live view of the Microsoft score that now decides their earnings and incentives – and the shortest route to raise them.

ESBJERG, DENMARK - SEPTEMBER 7, 2026

Cloud Factory, the pan-European cloud distributor for Microsoft and Adobe, used its seventh Partner Day to launch LevelUp!, a tool inside its Partner Portal that shows every partner their live Microsoft Partner Capability Score and the fastest path to raising it.

More than 300 MSP partners from six countries attended the event at Musikhuset Esbjerg on Thursday, September 3.

Microsoft's FY27 changes, effective July 1, 2026, moved the money. Base margin on Copilot doubled from 10 to 20 percent. Margins on selected licenses dropped from 20 to 15 percent. Partner-to-partner migration incentives were defunded, and organic growth was funded instead.

Access to those incentives now runs through one number, the Partner Capability Score. 25 points is the minimum ticket. 70 points earns a Solutions Partner designation and unlocks internal-use licenses, including Copilot and Microsoft 365 E7.

LevelUp!: the portal is your compass

LevelUp! puts that score on one screen inside the Cloud Factory Partner Portal, built from each partner's own Microsoft data. It maps every certification the team holds to the area it scores in, shows the gaps, and links each gap to the course that closes it.

Around 130 instructor-led courses are bookable directly from the portal, with price and duration shown up front, alongside the same catalogue self-paced. Twenty recorded courses are free for Cloud Factory partners, with completions reported straight to Microsoft. LevelUp! is the first of three tools launching inside the portal, alongside Customer Signals and an Upgrade Engine.

“FY27 hangs on one scoreboard. 25 points gets you in, 70 points is the prize, and certifications take six to twelve months. We did not make a slide about that, we built the tool. Your team can see the exact gap, click the course that closes it, and have the points reported to Microsoft without touching a form. The portal is your compass, and it points at the money. Start Monday," says Jacob V. S. Schmidt, Founder and Chief Product Officer, Cloud Factory.

The launch lands as Microsoft tightens its channel. Since October 2025, Direct Bill partners must clear four bars to keep that status, including USD 1 million in annual CSP revenue and a Solutions Partner designation, and a number of former Direct Bill partners have moved to Cloud Factory instead.

Five commitments from the new CEO

The Partner Day also marked the first keynote from new Chief Executive Officer Michael H. Jensen, who joined Cloud Factory as Chief Operating Officer in September 2025 and became CEO on July 1, 2026, after 21 years in the United States that included go-to-market roles at Google and Microsoft.

Jensen set out five commitments for the next 36 months, from rebuilding the platform for people and AI agents working side by side to expanding Cloud Factory's footprint from six markets to ten, starting with Belgium, then Poland, Spain and Italy. Microsoft itself asked Cloud Factory to enter Poland.

“Nothing we ask of our partners over the next 36 months is something we have not already asked of ourselves. I have given them five questions to hold me to at Partner Day 2027. If I cannot answer them, that is the answer,” says Michael H. Jensen (MJ), Chief Executive Officer, Cloud Factory

Cloud Factory has grown from 80 partners in 2020 to more than 1,000 today, and from 63,000 managed Microsoft licenses in 2021 to 1.2 million in 2026, with Copilot revenue up 300 percent and Azure up 100 percent year over year.

Partner Day also featured booths from Microsoft, Adobe, Acronis, Keepit and Impossible Cloud, three newly onboarded ISVs, and a day of strategy sessions and hands-on tooling walkthroughs, underlining the company's founding principle: 100 percent for MSPs.
